Markie Post

Markie Post was born in Walnut Creek, California. She started her career with television and film productions like "Card Sharks" (1978) or "The New Card Sharks” (1986). Later, she was the producer of projects like Double Dare (1976). She has also been featured on television programs like 1st to Die (2003) and E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (2001). Her most popular role was for her character "Christine Sullivan" who was who was a Night Court star (1984). From 1984 to 1992, she was in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post was her mother. She was famous for her poetry and as a nuclear scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918-April 7, 2015). Had two daughters with her husband, Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 1997) and Daisy Ross (born March 30 and died on March 30, 1990). was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut Creek, California. She attended Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was an athlete. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree. She performed a few trick roping in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). The funeral was held and her remains were returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post passed away on the 7th of August in 2021. She died three months before what would have been her 71st birthday, which was on November 4. She died on the 27th day following Charles Robinson, her Night Court (1984) co-star, died on the 11th of July, 2021. Even though the two shows are not related, Night Court (1984) was the final show to end with Christine Sullivan's character leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) was the first show to introduce Post as Georgie Lahti. Post was a new character in Hearts Afire (1992), after which she relocated into a smaller town following her work in Washington DC.
